I recently had a good laugh explaining to someone what was the Center for cultural Decontamination (czkd) in Belgrade. Obviously, she had this in mind

which is what the title is kind of implying if you don't know the whole story. It made me wonder how people feel about this name? Is there anyone even slightly nonplussed about the backgound and denotation of such a word? I'm not sure that using a term like that today, no matter how relevant it might have been when founded, is helping to build a pacified and reunited civil society. It sounds a lot like an Orwell-like kind of institution - or maybe the title of an awesome (yet to be made) zombie movie, where hardcore gender studies specialists bash the skull of the living dead with a hard copy of Butler's collected works. That'll also work.
